Looking for a high-level Project Manager for our digital marketing agency who can lead a remote team of awesome unicorns! We aren't just looking for someone to check boxes; we need a proactive thinker who masters the balance between high-level strategy and flawless execution.
Key Requirements to Qualify:
- Strategic & Proactive Planner: You don’t just react to deadlines; you anticipate project resource volumes and dependencies, resolving conflicts before they impact the client.
- AI-Forward Workflow: Experience (or high aptitude) in integrating AI tools into daily workflows to increase team efficiency and output quality.
- Data & Reporting Fluency: A deep understanding of pixels, tracking, and analytics. You should be comfortable diving into MoM and YoY reports to find the "why" behind the numbers.
- High-Level Strategy: Ability to think big picture—strategizing avatars, customer funnels, and target markets rather than just moving tasks along.
- Open & Impeccable Communication: English as a first language with perfect grammar. You must be a "radical transparency" communicator who keeps internal and external teams aligned.
- Copywriting Skills: Ability to review or write high-converting copy for ads, newsletters, and client communications.
- Media Buying Knowledge: Foundational understanding of Facebook and Google Ads to effectively manage specialists.
- Leadership: 1+ year of client management and 2+ years of marketing background. Ability to manage a team of 5+ people with great video/email etiquette.
Your Day-to-Day Impact:
- Strategic Liaison: Act as the bridge between clients and our internal team, ensuring everyone is aligned on high-level Q2/Q3 goals.
- Workflow Optimization: Continuously improve our internal processes using AI and automation to keep us lean and fast.
- Performance Oversight: Oversee ad/email copy and creative, ensuring every deliverable aligns with the broader brand strategy.
- Traffic & Timeline Facilitator: Keep the team on track, ensuring accuracy of deliverables and proactive planning for upcoming campaigns.
- Insightful Reporting: Run internal and client-facing meetings, not just reciting data, but providing strategic recaps and "next-step" action plans.
- Logical Decision Making: Actively resolving and escalating issues as appropriate while maintaining a "team-first" mentality.
Growth & Compensation:
There is plenty of room for growth within the Top Growth Marketing team for a proactive thinker.
- Pay: Hourly + 2 performance bonuses per year.
- Path to Salary: Full performance review in 6 months with the opportunity to move to a salaried position.
Job Responsibilities
There is a range of tasks you will be managing on the day-to-day while being a pivotal part of the Top Growth Marketing team.
Some example tasks
- Manage client relationships (connect internal and external teams).
- Strategy & brainstorming sessions with clients.
- Overseeing the execution of marketing campaigns on Facebook, Instagram, Google, YouTube, Snapchat & TikTok.
- Ad and email review before sending to clients.
- Account set up for clients and team.
- Onboarding new clients so we can start running ads & emails for them.
- Traffic controller. Keep the team on track and clients happy.
- Track the progress of tasks, deadlines & accuracy of deliverables.
- Run internal and client-facing meetings, taking detailed notes & disseminating meeting recaps.
- Anticipating project resource volumes and dependencies as well as actively resolving and escalating issues and conflicts as appropriate.
